Just wanting to clarify a point on this...
I currently have booking as follows:
SGN-SIN (Economy Flexi, B)
SIN-SYD (Premium Economy Flexi ,T)
This is booked as a single journey and the mixed class is of course because the SGN-SIN sector is operated by an A330 without PEY. In order to upgrade the entire journey to Business using miles, is it simply a calculation by 2 separate segments? In which case it would be:
SGN-SIN: Economy Flexi to Business (15,000)
SIN-SYD: Premium Economy Flexi to Business (30,000)
TOTAL: 45,000
Is this correct? Or is there a different way that it should be calculated? This doesn't seem quite right as the cost to upgrade Economy Flexi to Business from SGN-SYD is 45,000. Would it not make sense for this price to be lower if the majority of the journey is in Premium Economy?
