Award in SQ or Silk Air

Two question ?
1. Is award tkt allocation is same in both SQ or MI (silk air ) Flights?
2. Does anyone know, what is criteria for award allocation ?

I have booked award tkt for two passenger , it is waitlisted in MI flight.
someone told, chances of getting confirmation is very less , not sure is that true or not ?


Any input will be apprecaited ?

I wouldn't redeem on MI unless SQ doesn't fly there.

I personally would not risk a waitlisted redemption (Unless you really have a lot of flexibility whether to travel or not). Some other folks on SQTalk have said that their waitlists have cleared, but this is not a gamble I would be willing to take.

Maybe if you let us know what destination or approximate date, some folks here may be able to advise on whether those dates are peak or off-peak.
