Book your Singapore Airlines-only flight on singaporeair.com and add your TrueBlue number when you complete the reservation.

For future flights, contact Singapore Airways with your confirmation number and TrueBlue number. For travel completed after September 1st, you may request points for flights flown within twelve months. To request points, go to the Request Missing Points page and fill in the required information.
When can I expect my TrueBlue points to be credited to my account once I have completed my travel?
Point requests may take up to 30 days to be added to your account, and your request history can be viewed in the Request History section within the TrueBlue site.
Are all Singapore Airlines flights eligible to earn TrueBlue Points?
Yes, you can choose to earn TrueBlue points on all Singapore Airlines operated flights.

I suppose what we can say is farewell UA. I suppose the services provided by B6 will be better than UA for connecting flights in US domestic.
However, for major domestic routes, such as JFK-LAX, JFK-SFO etc., I am quite surprised to see you will be earning more points on VX's recliner than B6's flat bed if you are flying on a premium class.
