Are Miles Earned With VA Counted As KrisFlyer Elite?

Hello for the first time...

I have a simple question that I have researched but not been able to get a clear answer to - Are miles earned on VA (Virgin Australia) domestic flights counted as Elite miles under KrisFlyer?

SQ website seems to indicate "no", a conversation with a somewhat difficult-to-understand SQ person indicates "yes", forums have differing views.

So, has someone here flown VA giving KrisFlyer as FFP and received a credit of Elite earned miles?

You will only earn KrisFlyer Elite Miles if you flew on an SQ marketed service operated by VA as part of a codeshare itinerary, ie with an SQ flight number. You will not earn Elite Miles if you flew on VA flight numbers.
