  • Krisflyer access to LX ,LH ,TG and OS in J

    Morning ladies and gents
just wondering if anyone has any experience in booking LX ,LH ,TG and OS long haul international J using *A redemption thru krisflyer. I am aware there has been discussion previously about access to F on LH and LX and I have in the past been able to book LX and LH J redemption within Europe thru krisflyer, but I am particularly interested in the long haul access.
The ANA tool often shows availability but access to this may be a different story once you call.
I would love to hear from anyone who has any experience

I think experiences for long haul award redemptions on OS, LX, LH using KF miles will be rare as most people aim to redeem their hard earned KF miles flying SQ as much as possible.

As far LX, OS or LH go I have had a hard time getting LX C when I wanted even using LH M&M miles. F was actually easier, but LX178/179 from SIN to ZRH is am A343 so old F but new C so I didn't see the use to waste the extra miles.

Thank you for the reply. I am planning to head to GVA and I am trying to minimize my wasted time so I have used the *A website to select a my top 4 preferred routes before I contact krisflyer to see if they can come up with my preferred option. I was just interested to see if I was going to be wasting my time or not with some of the options

I think the real question would be where are you actually flying from. If your start point is from Singapore, doing a SIN to GVA via FRA isn't that tough. I had previously booked VCE to SIN via FRA, and the FRA to VCE flight was on LX, and the FRA to SIN flight was on SQ.

This is what demue means when most KF miles will fly SQ. On another note, I've used SQ multiple times for bookings on multiple airlines other than LX, and typically the ANA tool is pretty spot on.
        Life's A Bitch,
        Love It

If GOD created me for only 1 reason. That reason would be to the love of my wife. If there was any other reasons involved, that would be for the love of Singapore Airlines

Thanks for the reply. Flying from MEL ,I have done the trip previously thru SIN to MUC and LHR on SQ and getting there always fitted well with my onward travel plans .The return trip was the one I was trying to make some time improvements on. Really I am just being a bit fussy trying to maximise my time on the ski slopes . The SWISS flight from Zurich to SIN is really the one I was after.

But going to GVA you could just redeem on SQ all the way to ZRH and then maybe go by train or so? Not that bad in Switzerland. You could fly SQ all the way (award availability permitting) and would get the 15% online redemption savings.

I am booked on LX179/178 in (new) C in Oct and Nov, but I got those seats in Feb using LH M&M miles.
