    I only fly twice a year and by no means wish to become Gold as it is simply impossible.
    First I thought this was a some spam message, but when I logged in my account it showed that I am literally a gold...!
    Is this possible or SQ is having some fun of me...

            I actually bought a lottery ticket for this coming Saturday a couple days ago. So this is my prize before the draw...?

                  Just out of curiosity did the OP check his activity statement?

                  Someone may have been crediting miles to your KF number instead of their own, inadvertently..

                    Yes I have. There is no mysterious miles crediting.

                    The funny thing is that my member duration has been altered from Jan to Jun, and all elite miles have been reset to zero while PPS value remains intact.

                    The downside is that 27,000 elite miles have been wiped out, which I was happy with re-qualifying as silver for the next year.
                    Hope SQ do soft landing...

                    Anyway, I will try to find out the way how to enjoy this once in a life time benefit given... Thank you, Gunnar Smithsen

                        Well, I thought about it for a moment. Maybe I thought too much: it could be another glitch of their software issue, could be some marketing to cultivate new potential loyalty, and so on. Nothing made me any sense. For instance, if SQ needs more profit, then SQ should concentrate on the fact how SQ could make existing loyal members happy rather than to go hunting new potential members, etc.

                        And for sure that this could not have happened to me only, so I was just curious to know if any of you would not mind sharing the same.

                        Also, what answer should I expect from the customer service representatives?
