Upgrade waitlist

Hi guys/gals,

Just to let you guys know that if you guys are on waitlist for upgrades, do check SQ's site daily, AND carefully, to check if the upgrade waitlist actually clears. It so happens that mine was cleared couple of days ago, but I never knew. If I didn't happen to call in today to check (and lucky too), it would have expired as it was due to expire tomorrow.

So I managed to get my upgrade, but only after I tracked. So letting everyone here know so that you guys would be able to understand that that it seems pretty screwed up these days. Cheers.

Can anyone kindly check for me whether there is a long wait-list or the inventory for SQ 26 from SIN-JFK on J for Sat 27.

Sorry I missed this, yes bought the ticket online but the upgrade to J was through KF helpline because the system didn't allow me to waitlist on Saver.

Do you know which one is the code for Redemption in J? I am looking to redeem a J seat on SQ 26 on Jul 27.

I'm aware that D is business Standard. Savers can't be found here though.

For the first question, how about giving KF a call? They'd be able to let you know right away. They cannot however, tell you when or whether a waitlist will clear.

For the second question - yes. On popular flights, your chances may be slim. I've had this happen to me.

Currently no availability on either of these days. The SIN-FRA sector appears to be the bottleneck, as on both 26th and 28th July there is availability for FRA-JFK.

Thanks for all the help. My waitlist on the 27th cleared today. A miracle. The customer service I spoke to on the phone probably worked some magic and got it cleared.
