Krisflyer membership year

Last week, on my account on the website, it says that My tier expired May 2013. On my card, it shows as June 2013 and they have a note put that the card indeed expires 1 month after the tier expiry. And so i have always been thinking that my elite qualification year will end on May 2013.

However, my elite calculations have just been reset to zero at the end of April.

I am furious. which is my qualification year? April or May? I would have made it to Gold by end of this week. But now they have reset it to Zero.

The expiry date changes once you reach a different tier.

I just called.
The agent said not to worry, they are still counting for the next tier although they have reset my elite miles to zero one month premature of the expiry.

Why it is like that, I have no clue.

They've done the same with mine also and although I'll 'qualify', which I already have anyway, they won't show it when I sign into Krisflyer on SQ.com.

It's purposely kept opaque so the general public won't know to ask for it, I think. Shameful. Two counters would do the trick...

My qualification period is same as you, from May 2012 to April 2013.
Just reset to 0 from 1 May, and my next KFG status will be expired by end of May 2014.
I called before and according to them, 13th month KFG status is for transition period and we still can use the KFG card before new KFG card is delivered.
