It is a strange tagline indeed Kyo... Having browsed the Bangalore Aviation website... I can't seem to find the photo in question... Granted I only searched tags including 'Singapore Airlines' and got bored after browsing a few pages with nothing...

I do find the copyright notice quite confusing nonetheless, if it is indeed as SilverChris mentioned that this photo was published in the SilverKris magazine...

100% agree with you. Even though SQ's latest ad is really neat, my all-time favorite is this one:

Indeed. It is on page 78 of the April 2010 issue. I immediately recognized the photo since I love to collect the SilverKris inflight magazines

            Yep, that is true.

I had a chat with one of the SQ Girls in the forward cabin (C class) and she spoke to me in bahasa Indonesia and informed me that almost the entire batch of SQ Girls on that flight were Indonesian.
Some great crew the Indonesia girls.

Don't worry, she had her coat on stand-by for when the cameras were not rolling. You can see someone holding it for her in the 'making of' video.

She is LSS Nur (won't post her other name) and she is Malay Singaporean.

Not quite. She has no padding or thermals underneath. The Kebaya is unforgivingly thin, underwear is about all they can squeeze below.

Hello I'm another avid fan of SQ advertisements and SilverKris! Is there another version which ends with the Singapore Girl amidst a lion dance at the esplanade? I remember seeing something like that.

              Ah, timeless Singapore Girl...

I actually own a real FSS kebaya, can't tell you my source, but there is only a thermal padding for the blouse. The skirt has nothing, but there are small pockets inside the skirt design to hold something. Will post picture after I get off work

Yes there is! I believe you are referring to the one shown below. It's my second favorite SQ ad and the SQ Girl at the very end is beautiful!

Right folks...for the rest of us...a blouse inner lining is NOT a thermal padding.

Guess we don't need any photos to show us the insides of a blue/green/red/aubergine kebaya blouse with same colored lining. You can however, show us the lining below the skirt that stops at the bum line (for obvious reasons). Funny, that you are holding a real kebaya and not notice the inner lining on the skirt?

This thin cloth lining does NOT keep out the cold unfortunately, it does however, prevents the visible 'bra strap/panty line' problem as pointed out by Gunnar Smithsen

Does a visible bra/panty line really matter! It never worried me, if it`s that much of a problem just don`t wear any underwear.

Watched the new SIA Girl video. I feel it has gone a bit long-winded. The video is trying to show two meanings: SIA is a global airline & as a service provider SIA Girl cares for her customers. It's all right to show she's helping one or two. However, it has gone on and on. I couldn't watch this video more than once, it's tiring. I much prefer the old video during the 70-80s. What do you think?

Try getting more sleep, it will help alleviate the tiredness issue.
