I think it should be. In Singapore yesterday it was again released to the media about this, nothing new to update, first flight is still on 28th March 2011, using a 77W, etc.

Very true, but Sao Paulo still doesn't appear as a Departure City drop down box for either bookings or schedule checks on SQ.com, even though it does as a Destination City. It is also quite amusing to see in Schedules and Timetables it is the only one they don't seem to know what the three letter airport code is.

They are still awaiting final clearance from the Brazilian authorities for a few things, even upgrades ex-GRU are allegedly proving anything but straightforward. I also believe J and F are pretty quiet for the inaugural ex-GRU.

From what I can tell, SQ really needs to get things straight quickly if they're going to stick to inaugural date.

i did a quick search today and Barcelona seems to get double daily 3 times a week. SIA will retain its SIN-MXP-BCN and add SIN-BCN-GRU.

They don't have to have 100% load on the flight in order to start the service on time.

Seems the ads are already out. Just saw it in the Malaysian newspapers. Doesn't really match the previous ads IMO.

Have they even got things straight with the Brazilians yet?

GRU will have a reduced ex-SIN fare of SGD 9300 for business class with the addition of "D" class, from 28 Feb 11.

Looks like the Brazilians have finally stopped dragging their feet and everything is now more or less sorted, so redemptions and bookings now available.
