Infos about old SQ flights (summer 1997)

this is my very first post here.

I just began collecting airplane diecast of every model I flew on. Among my flights, there are some SQ ones but I can't remember which aircraft I used.

Here are all the details I was able to find out

07-25-1997 ZRH-SIN
07-26-1997 SIN-BKK
07-30-1997 BKK-SIN-DPS
08-08-1997 DPS-SUB-SIN (first leg on SilkAir for sure)
08-12-1997 SIN-ZRH

Can someone help me? I think an old timetable could do the job

SQ's fleet then were
B747-400 (with a couple of B747-300s still lurking around doing routes like SIN KIX)
A340-300 doing a mix of long haul and regional
A310-300 doing most of the regional routes


07-25-1997 ZRH-SIN
B747-400

07-26-1997 SIN-BKK
A310 A340 or B747-400 try to recall the seating and video and you will know which one. A310 had no video screen. A310/340 are single deck with 2-4-2 econ seating.

07-30-1997 BKK-SIN-DPS
A310 for SIN DPS. BKK SIN see above

08-08-1997 DPS-SUB-SIN (first leg on SilkAir for sure)
B737-300 for Silkair (are you sure you were on Silkair?)
SUB SIN are you sure you were on SQ?

08-12-1997 SIN-ZRH
B747-400

I think it was a A3x0 on the SIN-BKK-SIN (maybe it was DMK)

about the DPS-SUB-SIN I'm sure I used SilkAir for one leg... assumed it was DPS-SUB, but if it was on the SUB-SIN, who I flew with for the DPS-SUB?

No prob. I have a Summer 1999 timetable.

Just checked. Confirm:

SQ did (1999)
SIN SUB on A310.
SIN DPS on A310 and B777 - since 777s were not around in 1997, there may have been a A340-300 in the picture somewhere
SIN ZRH is B747-400
SIN BKK was a mix of B747-400, A340-300, B777 (which only arrived in 1998) and A310

To be sure, just get models of B747-400, A340-300 and A310-300!!


BKK in 1997 was Don Muang... now DMK.

ADL-SIN-ADL was A310-300 in 1997 and 1998 SQ229 AND SQ230
