Is SQ really innovating nowadays?

Just thought of the question.

Besides the recent e-library(going paperless), the feel is that they arent really as innovative as they use to. I mean look at the poor production of their safety vid (compared to EK's) and products(Suites concept was "copied")

Are they really still giving a more superior product than their competitors? (taking out their excellent crew and ground support)

To me its the service that SQ provide that makes it better than the rest.

Something i would like to see is the return of the internet connection on the aircraft. They did have this in the early 2000's, but it failed. Compared to this time lots more people and mobile enabled devices and the internet is used allot more. I think it should do well.
