Equipment for SQ603/608

Hi guys,

Last month, I booked two flights: SQ603 (ICN-SIN) and 608 (SIN-ICN), both in J, for June 2010 for my friend. At the time, the equipment shown was an A333 for both flights.

But I now see on my friend's online reservation that equipment for SQ608 has been changed to a B772. When I called SQ, a rep said that a B722 has always been used for SQ608. Can anyone verify this?

So, if a B722 is used for SQ608, will this be equipment with the refurbished cabins, i.e. new regional J?

You mean a 772. Cause if it was a 722 I'd book right away (hankering for a 727 ride now). And yes, the rep is right. It's always been a 772 as far as i know.

No, the 772 used are 9V-SV* series birds that have spacebeds, not new regional J.

Just found out that SQ608 operates with the B772 until the end of June and then will be replaced with the A333.

Perhaps there was some dithering over the switch date. SQ608 was definitely listed to be flown by a A333 when I ticketed the reservation.
