  • Would this be realistic for SQ LAX-NRT-SIN

Currently the flight is scheduled to arrive at 1.15am in SIN

What if they delay the flight another 3 hours.

Since NRT's curfew is 11pm. Schedule the flight to depart at 10.30pm and arrive in SIN at 5am. Fly a bit slower to get into the airport at a non godly hour...

I guess the HND-SIN flight will take care of this later, but just random thinking here

Won't slowing down actually cause a higher fuel burn rate?

I think the 30 minute window is a bit tight, seeing how bad a ripple effect would be from earlier in the day. Also, don't know many people would want to arrive in NRT, find a bus/taxi/train and get home by 2am?

But I do agree. We need some variety. I hate having that dead time in SIN after arriving on UA at midnight. An evening departure from SIN to NRT and an evening arrival in LA would be perfect.

I should have been more clear...for people who don't have a corporate expense account.
