sq1 waitlisted

I have 1 ticket from nyc to hkg
the portion of sfo to hkg is via sq1
i wanna to travel on 20 may (my original one is 25 may)
I asked my agent for help 1 month ago
he just told me it;s waitlisted and the chance is quite good
but until now.. i am still on waitlisted.
I phoned sfo and hkg office.. they all said they cant do anything but just help me send messages..

i reli want to get back to Hong KOng on 20 may
is the chance very slim in may???

SQ1 on 20/May is almost fully booked in all classes so I would say that your chances for now seem quite slim.
I would continue to wait and just keep calling SQ in SFO.

at most on day of waitlist, 20th May, make your appearance at the airport and hope for the best....

Although you are waitlisted, the chances are not that small.
I had several waitlisted experience with SQ. There were one time it became clear about a week before waitlisted date.
Keep calling and waiting. If you are Elite silver or gold that would help a lot.
