I don't even know if they give out bears now. I asked for one on my way back from LHR, no one knew what I was talking about.

Yes they still do them, but I think they only give them out in J class or above.

Anyone seen the red shirt bears with the blue logo, as I can not seem to find it anywhere?

Hi All,
Arrived on SQ25 in SIN in F this morning. No teddy bears and was told by the FAs that bears are now extinct on SQ25. I will be on SQ237 J tonight and will try to ask for them again.

(Note: FAs did give me some strange looking rabbits, dolphins and some stuffed weird horned 4-legged creatures. I think it is a cow...)

Can anyone confirm the Teddy Bear extinction theory on SQ flights?

The FA gave me two when I was in R on 30 Aug, 2011's SQ321

I got 3 different colored bears from SQ227 R in June. But couldn't get one on SQ26 F on Sep 6, only a strange stuffed bunny. My nephew in Austria was very disappointed...

I am very happy to be told by fellow SQtalkers that I am wrong, that bears are just hibernating not extinct.

I will update after completing 237 tonight.


Edit: Update from SQ237. No bears, was told they have joined dinosaurs. I was offered these monsters:

Bears seemed to be more common on A388, B77W, B773, B772ER. Its a catch or miss. Never heard of bears onboard the regional 772s. Not too sure for A330 & A345.

Still can`t find the red shirt bear with the blue logo, only seem to have blue or yellow on my flights, might have to do a special deal with my friends at Singapore on my next trip through.

I just got off SQ12, CSS onboard is a childhood friend, asked him to get the bears for me, but he said no more..... But he got me a bagful of others..... Will post up picture when I have the time.
