SQ or UA+NH

Well of course this is a SQ forum so everyone will say SQ, but here is the catch

(award booking no space on KIX)

SQ SIN-NGO and take the train to Osaka fuel surcharge is 5000yen more plus about 6000-9000yen to travel back to Osaka

or SQ SIN-FUK-ITM and fly the old recliners on the 777 (this is before the 333 switch) still 5000yen more for fuel surcharge...

or UA SIN-HKG then NH HKG-KIX will lose the whole day. Fuel surcharge is 5000yen cheaper.

Over night in SIN is no extra cost (friends place)

Which would you fly?

my final destination is ITM or KIX where I live.

My preference is for direct / non stop flights.

In this case, no award availability to KIX so..

.. I'd go for the next fastest alternative...

By this criteria, SIN-HKG-KIX is out because you lose a whole day

SIN-FUK-ITM is faster than SIN-NGO/train to Osaka?

It's cheaper too.

SIN-FUK-ITM for me. Time is precious and I like to maximise my time in Japan. But then again, you live there.
