    The typical 744 and 777 Y seats have 2-pin sockets, not 3. Maybe you were referring to the Exec Economy seats (which I admittedly don't recall checking when I last sat in one on a CGK - SIN)?

      Interesting....I've not flown a 744 since Feb05 so don't remember but the 777s I remember usually come with 3...at least the SV* series which I usually fly....maybe I need new glasses
