SIN - KIX

Hi,

I will be travelling to KIX in a few days time. From the website, I can see that SQ uses the Boeing 777-200.

May I know is this an old plane? I have a feeling that it is one. I do hope they have in-flight entertainment. (Sorry for my ignorance).

Also, since it is an overnight flight, will meals be served and when will that be? Is it just before touching down?

I'm sure it will be just a light meal plus you'd have eaten dinner before heading to the airport or at the airport.

You'll be offered a choice of either supper or breakfast.

I try to sleep as soon as I can, then wake up for breakfast.

Although it's an old plane, you'll have IFE.

( Academic for me. I'll sleep the whole way since flight leaves SIN at 1am )

Either breakfast or supper? I had better choose breakfast as Japan is expensive!

All SQ's birds are fully equipped with IFE, the only problem is getting a plane with AVOD.

May i know which class of service are you travelling on?
If it is business class, it would be either a breakfast or supper,
but for economy, its a supper abt 1 hour into the flight and a light breakfast 1 hour before touchdown.

Of course I am on......... Economy. To me, flying is already a luxury. I can forget about travelling on business class within my lifetime.
