Finding economy fares LHR-CHC for Jul 2010

Hi there,

I am planning a trip to Christchurch next July, return September.

Just been through www.singaporeair.com, and I did make sure that I chose United Kingdom.

All the fares that come out are pretty expensive, around GBP1400+ at least - and they all come out as Flexi fares.

Is this completely normal, i.e. I shouldn't expect prices to come down any further?

If I should wait, when will the fares be usually released?

I think it's too early to search for saver fares for July 2010. I'd wait until December or so. (The saver fares for April 2010 came out in September this year, for example -- so, roughly two quarters before.)

Does that mean tickets for May/Jun (same quarter) are also released in Sept as well?

I think the ex-LHR saver fares released in September covered up to mid or end June. I've mainly looked at the MNL fares, though.
