    I've just received my etickets from my travel agent.

    How do I select seats on my flights? My TA told me that she could only put in a request (aisle or window) but nothing specific as this will be done at check-in.

    Is this true?

    When I go into the SQ website and log in with my reference number the only seats available are the preferred seats (ie the ones you pay extra for). However it does not show my current assigned seat. All the seats are "greyed out".

    Am I missing something?

    Since you have booked from a TA, you cannot select a specific seat now.

    Your seats are automatically assigned by SIA and they can only be changed (if available) 48 hours before departure via online check-in.

    If you want an aisle or window seat get your TA to put in the request or call SIA directly. But you cannot request a specific seat.

      Next time, book online on SQ.com if you want to select seats in advance. This only applies to economy class. Business and first class can select seats no matter how the tickets were booked.
