  • SQ Loads between MEL and AMS on 10 Sep

    Hi,

I'm flying on SQ228 (MEL-SIN) and SQ324 (SIN-AMS) on the 10th of September (this Thursday).

How can I find out what the loads will be like in Y?

I'm assuming MEL-SIN will probably be packed but what about the Amsterdam flight... any chance of a spare seat?

And does anyone know what meals will be served on these flights (ie. what is the menu?)

    Thanks

    Per Sabre:
    Code:
    1SQ 228 F4 P4 A4 Z0 C0 J0 D0 MELSIN 350P 940P DCA /E
               [B] S9 Y9 B9 E9 M9 W9 Q9 N4 H0 V0 T0 L4 K0[/B]
Economy doesn't appear to be all that full on SQ228.

    Code:
    1SQ 324 Z4 C4 J4 D4 [B]S9 Y9 B9[/B] SINAMS 1145P 700A‡1 DCA /E
                [B]E8 M9 H0 W1 Q0 N0 V0 T0 L0 K0[/B]
SQ324 actually appears busier in Economy, but given that they're still selling seats in the lower fare buckets I doubt the flight is all that full either.

    Still, you never know.

edit: there appears to be even more availability when I did a "MEL-AMS" search:

    Code:
    1SQ 228 F4 P4 A4 Z0 C0 J0 D0 MELSIN 350P 940P DCA /E
             S9 Y9 B9 E9 M9 W5 Q6 N2 H9 V0 T0 L0 K0
    2SQ 324 Z0 C0 J0 D0 S9 Y9 B9 AMS 1145P 700A‡1 DCA /E
             E9 M9 H9 W5 Q6 N2 V0 T0 L0 K0

Thanks... hopefully it would be a quiet flight!

Any tips on how best to score a seat with an empty one next to me? I've got rather long legs and since I can't buy the emergency exit seats between SIN and AMS on the 772er I'm trying to find the best seats.

an empty seat next to you won't help with legroom

here are some seating preferences for travelling alone

Thanks for the tips Kiwi... but a spare seat next to you does give you more space... as you can sit sideways and stretch the legs a little.
