SQ231: which type of business seat?

Just wondering for SQ231, do they offer full dinner, or they just expect you to sleep until morning where they offer you breakfast? Can I still order snacks etc?

no full dinner, you either eat your food after you take off or before landing.

But you can BTC on this flight.

Of course you can order snack in between.

Does SQ have these new seats for any of their flights on the SIN -> Shanghai routes?

Also for Business lounge in SIN, do they offer full dinner service, or they only provide snacks only? If only snacks provided, then I was thinking of going to town and have some food as I have like 7 hours transit time (could not reduce my transit time as earlier flight is A380 and they don't offer award on A380 J product to *A members).

You'd be able to havea full meal at SKL J. The selection of food is quite good, to me at least. Have a great trip

Thank you everyone for the feedback. Looks like I will have my dinner and wine at SKL J at SIN, then catch SQ231 and more wine to assist me to go straight to sleep (OK, maybe after watching a movie to test the AVOD ) then wake up to have the lobster BTC. Any other suggestions on BTC? If BTC is not ordered, what is the standard J breakfast meal on SQ231 like? I have never tried breakfast in J before.

Since I mostly flown Y so I am sure that the food in SKL J will satisfy my needs From the photos shown on new Regional J, hopefully this won't be the last SQ J flights for a while.

I too flew SQ231 last week (19th August) and I must say flying in whY proved a most comfortable ride - I much prefer the refurbed 773 to that of the 744.

Sitting in row 31, fully reclined, made sleeping very easy, however the young baby sitting in across from me made sleeping a little harder

I'm assuming that the new Y on the 773 is the same as Y on the 77W and 380?

no, same old seat just new seat cover, the only change is J and F seat.

Hope you enjoy your first SQ J experience! However, it is safer not to expect too much, especially with regards to the food.

Even the food in the lounge.... there won't be anything there you cannot find in any foodcourt. The only thing is that it is "free".
