"Suites" ist still a "Class Beyond First" even with F booking class. "Suites" still have the benefit of an enclosed cabin and a "real" bed.

SQ should not change the marketing for Suites - it is just another kind of offering in their F range.

SQ has now 4 F offerings and 4 J offerings:

F: A380, 77W 747 and Regional F
J: A380, 747, New Regional J and Old R

In my opinion, SQ will attract now more business flyers as some people are entiteled to fly F but I don't know anyone who was entitled to fly R.

And if people are willing to shell out Full Award Miles for SQ then this should be commercially very attractive to SQ.

However, I suspect that now it's sunk in that they can't find enough people to pay 30% MORE than F, they'll gradually lose interest in the marketing and orange boarding passes, etc. etc.

please don't praise SQ suites too highly as they might pull back the plans and everyone will suffer from no access to F availability.

Its nothing more than gimmick marketing but i agree that Suites is just another version of F.
Its not smart to call and alert SQ of special deals.
