  • Check-in for connecting flight

    Hi again,

Just a quick question on check-in. I have already checked in online for my flight tomorrow on SQ317 (and unfortunately did not get seats on the upper deck ) but I also have a connecting flight with MI (SQ5052) which I would like to check-in for too.

I have tried but it just says that I have already checked-in (because of my first flight). It would have been good for this one as the time between our 2 flights is quite short but if anyone could advise whether I can check-in for that flight at Heathrow, that would be great (probably a silly question ).

Also, could someone just outline what I have to do when I land at SIN (to do with boarding passes for the next flight, baggage...etc)

    Thanks

if you connecting to SQ/MI (in case you are) the agent at Heathrow should be able to check you in straight away, they usually give you 2 separate boarding pass when you check in in Heathrow

Thanks . Already have one set of boarding passes (which I am guessing need validating) but I'll ask them to check us in for the connecting flight.

Once I land at SIN, do I just go to whatever gate my connecting flight is departing from or do I have to get my baggage or go to a transit desk?

if you have your boarding pass for you connecting flight, just go straight away to your gate, LHR flight usually land on T3 and MI flight is departing from T2, it's just a quick train hop.

I'm doing < 1 hr connecting flight most of time from SYD to south east Asia country, you should be ok, I even sometimes go out immigration and meeting my cousin to give her something and i still make it to the gate on time
