As the WHO and the CDC are lagging on a vaccine, does anyone know if smaller countries (read: S'pore) are working on this themselves?
Further to lee_apromise's note, the boffins here at CSL (manufacturers of Tamiflu here in Australia) have (if I understand correctly) also developed a vaccine for H1N1 but are awaiting human trials to verify it.

What do you mean lagging? It takes time to properly isolate strains, identify the best ones to use in a vaccine and ramp up production. Then there is lots of testing, etc.
