  • 777-300ER F vs Suites

I am deciding between some different fare types for an Australia-Europe return trip. I have looked at the SQ website. Other than the sliding doors, and companion dining, are there any meaningful differences between the "new" First on the 777-300ER and the Suites?
    Thanks.

If money doesn't matter, fly Suites.

    - 300% Krisflyer miles (150% for 77W)
    - 77W First is not an optimal hard product (sleep diagonal, don't have enough room to stretch out in seating position in row 2 etc., seat bench uncomfortable)
    - nicer seat for lounging on the A380
    - the bed on the A380 comes out of the wall and is very, very comfortable (bit narrow though)

For sleeping, I prefer the much wider bed of the 777-300ER to the slightly longer bed of the Suites. I'm sure very tall people would have the opposite preference. For me, personally, the big advantage of Suites class is the privacy.

        777-300ER vs A380

Thanks for the advice. I'm LH FF (Senator) and get 300% with either aircraft. What are the specific differences between the 2 seats and footrests/recline/storage etc? Is the 777-300-ER the same as the 777W?
        Thanks

The seat in Suites class has more configurability in terms of recline, footrest position, etc. If you like the reclined but not flat position, Suites is probably a little better. Both offer ample storage.

Yes, 777-300ER is the model and 77W is the code used in the reservation computers.

            thanks for advice

Thank you for the advice - I am now in J from Syd-Sin on the A380 and then in F the next day (SQ is guarding those connecting overnight sin-lhr flights and charging higher fares for them than the 777-300ER) on the 0905 to lhr. On the return flight we fly from zrh to sin in F.
Any tips on how to maximise relaxation in the J and F seats on these two aircraft?
Also is there a caviar service in F on the morning sin-lhr flight (it is breakfast followed by lunch) or on the night zrh-sin flight?
            Thanks

I flew ZRH-SIN in F a year ago, but I don't remember which of the two flights. I don't recall being offered caviar.
