  • Inflight Entertainment on SQ

    Hi all

I am flying SQ from Johannesburg, South Africa to Singapore on 20 January and again from Singapore to Sydney on 21 January and was wondering where could I find out what movies are being shown on the in-flight entertainment system on those particular flights.

I have checked Singapore Airlines website to no avail

    Thank you

    Shaun from South Africa

There you go. All Video on demand (your JNB flight will be operated by a 9V-SV* series a/c, which all feature Wisemen 3000)

Just to note that the list of movies you can find online is only partial--there will be other selections as well.

The feature this month is Martin Scorsese pictures, leading with The Departed (adapted from the same Chinese source material as HK's blockbuster Internal Affairs) and also including classics like Raging Bull, Casino, and others. Several Jack Nicholson films too (he's in The Departed).

The Queen was playing, and I watched it. Great movie.

Those are the ones that stood out. Lots of others available, of course. The TV Hits were a bit dated. I watched the very same CSI episodes several months ago on SQ.

I think this is where SQ really fails. From February to August 2006, a good number of the shows didn't change. The Travel & Living Channel didn't change at all (other than that they added The History of Singapore).
