I see it flying to SIN sometime soon to replace another ex-SQ veteran flying the route for BG. But the colours just look similiar to CX.

SRA used to go to DAC once in a while. She likes it so much, she's calling it home now

She won't miss SIN too much though, rumoured to be operating back to SIN on certain days as well.

Contract for SRB is close to being signed.

As of Monday morning, 18 January, 9V-SQA was parked at remote bay 205 (south end of the outer T-2 ramp, next to the south cross-taxiway between 02C and 02L), in basic SQ colors, stripped of titles and tail logo. Next to her, on the north, was 9V-SRB, still in full SQ titles and colors................

Although it is inevitable, it's still sad to see her go this way. Still remember when this a/c was delivered in 97, it did a low flypast at the airport before turning around and landing. It was also decked with the special 50th anniversary colours. Hordes of airline staff were waiting just to see this a/c.

Interestingly, a SQC freighter is due to be flown back from VCV soon.

Replacing 4 with 1. They are really going to work those birds hard!

Yes. 787 is in between the sizes of 767 and 777. The largest 787-9 is slightly smaller than the smallest 777-200. The smallest 787-3 is about the size of largest 767-400ER.

hmmmm so the only aircraft that would take sq 12 and 11 would probably be 380 or 77w.

I am like sigh this route is like still 744 from ages til now. No change. at least change it to 773ER

SQ knows you like the tatty 747s very much. As such it is extending the privilege of travelling onboard to you for a much longer period instead of swapping it to another aircraft.
