Question about SQ's IFE system

Hi, I will be taking the 744 and 77W on F, and will like to find out about the IFE system. Is the IFE system the same on both the aircraft? I checked the website but couldn't find out much.

They are not the same. 744s use the Wiseman 3000 platform and 77W uses the EX2 platform. EX2 is much better and has even more choices

Is there a reason SQ didn't go the touch-screen way? Noticed that many airlines, Qantas, Emirates and V just to name a few have already upgraded their systems to allow that. Also, I do like the flight cameras that Emirates has on their flights. I think some other airlines have that too?

Yes, same options across 3 classes. Just differing screen sizes.

thats one of them but not all the 773s are non-AVOD. The aircraft are not fixed to a particular route so you may even get it on SIN-MEL if you are unlucky.

Yeah I got that the last time two weeks ago (Sunday), which is not surprising at all on this route.

I have to do it again this Sunday, haven't had time to check the Krisworld offerings yet, will have to do it this evening..
