I had flights booked on F during Easter, got transferred to different flights. Not too please as SQ217 and SQ218 are the best times for my travel.
SQ didn't order enough 77Ws.
SQ308/319 goes 77W from April, as of now SQ doesn't have enough 77Ws to do a daily to LHR so 1 77W has to be pulled off regular service to allow a daily. Once CDG goes 388 in June, 2 77Ws will be freed allowing the MEL 77W to resume and SQ231/232 to swap from 744 to 77W.

So that means SQ 219/220 is the one they were gonna switch from 744 to the A380? I was told that SQ was gonna eventually have 2 A380 flights to SYD and the other would be the 77W. They already have one, so I think one of the 744 routes will be phased out for the A380. I am not sure which one.

It could go either way. If SQ decides to maintain the 4 daily flights on a regular basis, SYD is likely to be 1x388 & 3x 773/W.
I have my reservations on any upgrades to A380 for the SYD flights in the short to medium term given the current economic climate. . With the aggressive capacity reduction across the network, I can't see SQ adding more capacity instead to SYD in the near future?
