    Another 4F fan here....gutted that the fabulous flights taken in that seat will not be possible for much longer.

      1B if the cabin is relatively empty.... 4A if it's full... just my preference.

        Is there a seat where I can get a good view of the wing?

              31 is the begining of Economy class so Man Flyer is basically saying anything before row 31...= Business / First class

                Oh you never mentioned First Class, you asked about seeing the wings.

                In that case, you've got a big decision to make here ;

                A) Do I want to fly in First Class ?.

                or

                B) Do I want to look at the wings ?

                It's a toughie....

                  Don't give SQ ideas about re-siting the F cabin. The last thing I wanna see is a BA mid-J 52 config lookalike

                    Well, any seat would do. I could walk around the cabin and have a last look of the cabin before it's retireed.

                      You can just see the outer edge of the wings from row 4. you cannot see the wings from rows 2 or 3, and you can't look out the window easily from 1B.

                        Me too - that config is nasty. (NZ upper deck C is just as bad.)
                        ..

                          If you compare the Skysuites with the Suites, which is more value-for-money?

                            Skysuites are better than suites. They are also cheaper. Therefore they are better value for money.

                              So to convert the skysuites to a bed, do you just keep reclining it, or like the Suites complicated procedures that you need an FA to help?

                                You can recline it flat yourself. But if you want the berth properly made up -- with pad and duvet -- you'll need the FA.
