Well - at least they updated the website to reflect the changes to the B737-300. Plus the spacebeds make a comeback.

Compared the shots taken by mekmike and the ones I took on the 333.

The 73A seats are definitely wider by at least 2".

First class is the same as the 777W

First class is the same as the 777W

Almost, as the seats are both stand-alone with their own footrest. Question is whether the overall bed-comfort is nicer and you don't have to sleep diagonal anymore.

In maintaining a focus on service, innovation and product leadership, an initial batch of seven B777-300s will be refitted with the Airline’s most recent cabin offerings.

The Airline intends to extend the programme at a later date to more B777 aircraft, details of which will be announced when plans are firmed up.

Has anyone any "gossip" as to when this may be?


In particular on the SIN-MEL route.

I have flights on the 773s at Xmas (seems a no for the new ugrade by then) and next July (2010).
