  • From the Japanese timetable, travel in style: all C on A345 SIN-CGK

Just back from my holiday in Japan and picked up a Japanese timetable.
Although my Japanese is very basic I noticed this:

    SIN - CGK daily
    SQ 954 A345 08.50 - 09.25 C
    SQ 962 A345 17.30 - 18.05 C

    CGK - SIN daily
    SQ 955 A345 10.25 - 13.00 C
    SQ 963 A345 19.05 - 21.40 C

    Valid 26 october 2008 - 28 march 2009

Meaning for those wishing to try out the new A345, this sextor SIN-CGK makes an excellent way to try out those new seats.

Other equipment for flights are the 3-class 773 and 772.

** The Japanese timetable is mostly in Japanese with English add on's
** It has a small advertorial about the new A380 products
** Features a map of Changi Airport gates and terminal lay out
** And very handy a list of ticket pricing per flight number and class
** Bagage allowances and ticket restrictions
    ** Aircraft seatplan of A380, 747, 772, 772ER, 773ER
Any remarks or suggestions are kindly appreciated!

Sounds good to go for a mileage to CGK to collect some miles for my upcoming PVG trip.
Is an aircraft change common on this route?

        Hi:

I tot SQ stop printing printed copies of timetable in 2007? Could you take a pic of the timetable so that we can take a look?

        Thanks

A345s have been pulled of SIN-CGK vv. since late Nov 2008.

          SQ954/955 772
          SQ962/963 772

To SQflyergirl: Yes it was very much fun, can't believe the holiday is that quickly over! I have started on my TR, i will give you a honourable mention in the SIN-KIX section!

For Yongchau: This is a picture of the Japanese timetable:

This is the source of my information about the A345 SIN-CGK vv.

To Nick_C: What a shame though if they have been pulled out of service! Will they be used exclusively on SIN-EWR & SIN-LAX and not do any short hops or substitution flights?

I think the reason why CGK has the 345 is to maintain currency of the tech crew. As long as this restriction applies, CGK (or some other short haul destination) will have it
