Was analysing the pic of 9V-SWA as it arrived in SIN - looked like 19A (which according to the seatmap, is at the start of the wing) -has one missing window. Just as well 14A popped up yesterday and I grabbed it

Less than a week to go! I am excited... but a bit worry of being wounded deeper with the broken heart.

Well I have to admit that my excitement has gone down the hill along with my personal matters. So, I am on an orange alert level - meaning still going for the first flight, but with much less enthusiasm. Apology in advance to DeltaFlyingProf for possible 'bad mood' seat mate, as well as other SQTalkers whom I will meet during the trip.

DeltaFlyingProf and I are on SQ 1 right now. We were supposed to leave SFO Saturday 00:05 was first delayed to 0300, and by 0500 we were told to ldisembark, and were directed to Embassy Suites and Doubletree Hotels. We had lunch at the hotel slightly after noon, and about 1pm we were on the shuttle bis back to the international terminal. We pushed back, ... what a relieved..., around 1600. Now we are about the same latitude aas Vancouver.

Note: mechanical delays due to oil leak.

As a result of the delay, I have to rescheduled our flights accordingly to make sure we don't miss this first flight 77W to Paris Tuesday night. Any side trips previously planned were scrapped now. Cross our fingers. Hope evertything goes well after this. And we will still able to do the first flight.

(may you resize it a little bit, please?
                        thx
There's only One way to fly.... SINGAPORE AIRLINES!
If SQ is too expensive, the other way to fly is Qatar Airways

Tonight's flight has been confirmed operated by SWA. She was seen next to SPD this afternoon near F60.

SWB was on the other side near where the BA planes park, sitting all alone

The PR department is doing it's bit:

Singapore Airlines’ first Boeing 777-300ER (Extended Range) aircraft embarked on its inaugural commercial flight from Singapore to Paris today.

The daily flight, SQ334 departs Singapore at 2350hrs and arrives in Paris at 0625hrs the following day. The return flight, SQ333, departs Paris at 1145hrs and arrives in Singapore at 0720hrs a day later.

Fitted with an entirely new cabin, the new Singapore Airlines 777-300ER aircraft features the world’s widest First and Business Class seats with fully flat beds, more spacious Economy Class seats, as well as a leading edge KrisWorld inflight entertainment system with larger screens and more than 1000 options, including inflight office application software.

“We have been receiving very positive feedback on our new products since they were launched in October and we thank all our customers for their support,” said Mr Huang Cheng Eng, Executive Vice-President Marketing and the Regions, Singapore Airlines.

“Our new 777-300ERs offer a truly premium travel experience. With the aircraft joining our fleet, our customers can indulge in a cabin that promises enhanced personal space, luxury and comfort in all classes; and experience the new industry standard for premium air travel,” added Mr Huang.

Singapore Airlines’ next generation cabin products were unveiled in Singapore in October. The entire project was the result of a four-year development project that cost US$360 million.

Following the Paris service, the 777-300ER will operate on the Singapore – Hong Kong route from 6 December, and on the Singapore – Milan – Barcelona route from 20 December. In 2007, the aircraft will be deployed to other key cities in Europe, Asia and the US such as Zurich, Seoul, San Francisco and Frankfurt.

Singapore Airlines has 19 777-300ER aircraft on firm order. The airline will take delivery of the first 10 aircraft by mid 2007.

I was in the SKL last night to see CGK, DeltaFlyingProf, and NorwayAsia off on their innaugural trip. They were asked to go the gate early for festivities. I didn't go with them to the gate since I was knackered and it was clear that I wouldn't be let in. I hope they had a great flight.
