Prefered seating 81AC or 71HK

Hello All,

Quick question,

I have a choice between 81AC and 71HK upper deck A380, the missus told me to "buy" prefered seats, as our last SQ flights have been in Business, now we are back in Y!

Have seen pics of 81, is 71 similar?

HAve checled with seatguru/expert etc but looking if anyone has any info.
I am on a lon-sin flight

I just checked StarG's trip report again while trying to remember how was my impression when taking A380 upper deck. Row 71 seems further up behind the wings, and it does seem quieter since behind the C section, but very near to the C lavs. I remembered 81AC being more spacious (no jump seat in front of them.) And we had good view of sunrise from the exit door window by 81AC I recalled when taking LHR-SIN.
From my personal point of view, I don't really mind to buy those preferred seats since I know I will have very spacious leg rooms.
