LHR-SYD on A380

Hey guys

I'll be travelling LHR-SYD early Feb with a return in early May and have set my heart on going with SQ because of their rep and the 380. I'd decided to to do SQ321/221 and 222/318 with a night in Singapore on the way back. This combination was GBP885 until the beginning of this month and then it jumped up to GBP1065!

My question is: have I missed the boat? Is this likely to be as cheap as I'm going to get now? No likely sales coming up or price drops because of the price of oil dropping? Or is there no way to predict how they'll go?

February is a busy travel season for Australia, May not so much (but economy fare seasons are typically based on date of the outbound leg).

Try different dates. Check out QF (should also have A380 on LHR to SYD route by then, albeit not daily). Check out fares to New Zealand (buy a cheap separate ticket for New Zealand to Australia).
