  • overnight stopover and luggage

Hi guys. Have a flight soon which means we have to have a stay at Crowne Plaza Changi.

Question is: can we check our luggage in melbourne to collect bangkok next day or do we have to collect in Singapore and then check it in again?

Last year we went to Nice and flew TG to Paris then Air France to Nice. Only problem was it took two more days for our bags to arrive!!

    Appreciate your advice

As a rule of thumb, as long as you stay in SIN for less than 24 hours for transit, you don't have to collect it in SIN and re-checkin.

If you are flying *A (SQ, TG, etc) out of MEL, you are good. I would obtain the SIN-BKK boarding pass in MEL and have the bags checked all the way through BKK. You can have your overnight clothes and toiletries in your carryon.

      Have a great flight

      Cheers.
