What is Gyu-Don on the BTC J menu?
11 August 2008, 03:32 PM
I am a bit of a philistine when it comes to Japanese cuisine, apart from the basics like sushi, tempura and sashimi. I notice that Gyu-Don is offered on the BTC J menu ex-Sin. Can some enlightened foodie out there shed some light. What is Gyu-Don?

Gyu-don is my favourite J class BTC dish ex-Changi. Put simply it's Beef and Onion with Rice.

Many thanks for the replies. It is most useful to know what I was planning to order!

Is it like the basic meal in Yoshinoya?

Similar but not the same.
Yoshinoya's beef is more fatty and thin IIRC.
