  • Left something onboard (SQ SIN-LHR) - who best to contact?

Have just realised in my mammoth unpacking task that I have seemingly left a B744 model I purchased from Kris Shop onboard the aircraft as we departed yesterday I think the problem might have been that neither mrs nickbot not I are tall enough to see into the lockers, and I didn't want to stand on the SkySuites in order to peer into them!

I'm really annoyed, as I purchased this especially as a reminder of our trip, and to mark finally having travelled in all 3 classes on SQ 744. Do you know how I might best get in touch with SQ about this? I'm holding out hope that the FAs did a check-round of overhead lockers. Yes, it's only a small and relatively cheap item, but the symbolism of buying it onboard that flight was important to me

    Any help much appreciated!

SQ has usually been amazing about getting me back things I have forgotten on board. I think there's quite a good chance you will get it back! Let us know how it turns out.
And congratulations on finishing all classes on the 744! Hope you made them run out of Krug!

I wasn't so lucky. I've lost 2 IPod Nanos on SQ Flights and none has been returned. I'm not sure I'm any wiser from these loses though... Sigh

I've never lost anything on SQ, but back in Feb I left my iPod nano and QC2s in the seat pocket of my TG AKL-BKK flight and only realized it when I boarded my BKK-FCO flight hours later. The cabin crew sent a message to BKK lost and found and by the time I reached FCO, I had an email from BKK lost and found asking me where I wanted them forwarded to. Three days later they were on the BKK-JFK flight and the TG JFK office Fedexed it to my Michigan address so that it reached the day after I got home. Now that's what I call service.

Any news? I heard there was no report anything left behind from SQ in Singapore. (If I get the rumour correctly. )

No news Thanks for the rumour report I'm really annoyed at myself - I suppose I wasn't feeling well, so it just slipped my mind that the Kris Shop bag was in the locker We scraped together our last SIN notes and coins to pay for it (only $35, but still), and I wanted to have it sat there on my desk to remind us of an important flight

nickbot, if SQ LHR does not find it, I will gladly ask special someone to use up my gift voucher to replace your 744 model. I know it's not memorable enough, being from your first F flight, but at least a token of your anniversary gift.

                      How was the cake?

You really are too kind SQ LPP I think that gesture alone would reinstate the memorable status of a replacement model

Still uneaten in our fridge because still don't think I could manage any! Give me a few minutes and I'll take a photo of it! Don't want to show the onboard pics of it yet, as these will form part of the TR

Interesting...With IPod, I could understand it is very easy to be 'pocketed' by the cleaners but a model 744 as big as a carrier bag.... Now that's something.

I am surprised the cabin crew did not notice.

Not such a massive item (box measures roughly 120 x 120 x 30 mm), but bigger than an iPod yes (well,...maybe not bigger than 1st generation )

Now I get it...assumed you bought the 1:200 scale model.
