Another A380 Grounded...

Last night's (19 Jun) scheduled flight to NRT, SQ638, was delayed by over 5 hours as the aircraft was grounded due to "technical reasons".

Aircraft registration was 9V-SKB. The flight finally took off at 0448 hrs on a B744 aircraft.

Maybe I didn't make my post clear enough. The aircraft 9V-SKB WAS grounded. The flight left on a B744.

If you don't consider an aircraft being unable to be put into service due to technical reasons as being grounded, what, pray tell, do you consider as a grounding?
