SQ 11/12, aircraft change? and more..

I fly every summer to SIN from LAX and use the LAX-NRT-SIN and SIN-NRT-LAX a lot...
I am just wondering if they are changing the megatop to the A380. because when you enter LAX it says: "Preparing for the all new A380" and im just wondering if the A380 is going to make a move to LAX also...
Some people say that the 744 is aging, which I agree, but I also agree that it is also a very good aircraft, especially after its recent refurbish i think in 2000 or 2001.
The B747-400 on SQ is always good as SQ is always good.

I would think that LAX is referring to the QF A380's which are due to start SYD/MEL-LAX later this year. It would be great if it was SQ but it is tipped that the SQ A380's will initially serve SFO.
