I feel that addressing passengers by name in F/C class should be compulsory and not up to the whim and fancy of the cabin crew, and the duration of the flight.

I was on a shuttle flight (SIN-KUL) in F class last year and the IFS took the trouble to address every PAX by name before serving them breakfast. And by the way, he has presbyopia (lau hua yan) so he had to put on and take off his specs everything to look at the passenger manifest. Excellent service and attitude.

It's pretty much standard. Has been on every single KUL-SIN-KUL i've ever been on, in fact, pretty much every flight I've been on. Perhaps it's because I've got an easy to pronounce 3 alphabet surname
