No. And yes you are right but it's meant that way. You should realise this guy loathes the Superjumbo and that's why he uses the nearly unpronounciable selfmade derogatory nickname about it.

          What is unpronounceable about "WhaleJet"?

What an absolutely nasty lie! WhaleJet is a term of endearment. I'm looking forward to flying on them. The Whale represents size, strength, and grace.

May I ask SQTalkers to cool down the heat of the discussion?

I think it was unfair to zvezda to have sentiments attributed to him, when all he did was use was a term that has been frequently bandied around.

Surely we can get back to a discussion marked by civility towards all opinions and openness to all perspectives?

Sydney Airport counts down the arrival of the A380

A new countdown display was unveiled at Sydney Airport yesterday to celebrate the arrival of the A380 superjumbo in October. The countdown clock will be set once the exact date of Singapore Airlines’ history making flight from Singapore to Sydney is confirmed.

Just saw the A380 at Changi today, I didn't get to see the registration. Managed to get a pic but not a great one.

Not a lie. You have never said anything positive about the A380 Superjumbo. Your term is meant as derogatory by the way and context it is used in and several other people hold the same opinion. BTW Try to call a lady like that and see how she reacts and you have your answer.

We landed in the darkness on the T1 runway this morning (is the T2 runway closed EVERY morning at the moment ?) and I had to do a double take when I saw that thing at T3.
