    It would be mighty grand if the A380 would make a surprise flyover Marina Bay on National Day. That would blow away all the F16s and AH-64 Apaches anytime.

      Hello,.,,,,,News about the A380:

      According to local Spotters MSN003 will leave XFW on July 16th, 2007 and will fly to Toulouse. A picture of MSN003 can be seen here. http://www.spotterforum.net/viewtopic.php?p=1938#1938. Just follow the link included in the first entry of that thread (I was not sure if I am allowed to install the link to the picture directly).
      I've found also a link to some more pictures... See the three window lights.. I'm realy like this news. Maybe earlier delivery?

                Wonder what the "K" in the registration stands for.
                (Like 77W --> 9V-SW_)

                    Is there already an idea when the route SIN-LHR will be starting?
                    In april 2008 I go to Bangkok but I wouldn't mind a stopover in SIN when flying the A380!

                    Greetings

                      Has the W in SWB got anything to do with 77W? How about the 772ER then? Registration codes for this aircraft type are SV*.

                        They could be asset category codes, which may not have any meaning attached.

                              Will SQ send one A380 to LAX (just like what QF is going to do)?

                                There is a very good chance that SQ will eventually upgauge SIN-NRT-LAX to WhaleJet service.
