Hotel for SIA crew in London

Hi

Does anyone in here know were SIA let their crew sleep when they are in London ?
I tried to search but I didn't find any thread about it or maybe I just missed it.

There was no way for you to find that information on SQTalk, because we consider it important to safeguard crews' safety. There has been a number of incidents in the past, in which people have used that information to stalk crew members.

Were anyone to post that information, the mods would remove it.

Why do you want to know ? I imagine such information is confidential for the safety of the crew concerned.

All airlines consider that confidential in order to protect the safety of the employees and change hotels from time to time for the same reason.

interesting because TG's hotel in melbourne quite proudly have 'XXX Hotel welcomes Thai Airways' on their tv screens all the time when the TG crews are due to come in. hardly keeping it secret!

You might be able find out if you have a conversation with the crew onboard, I had a chat with a leading stewardess for about an hour when I was coming back to Christchurch from Singapore last month. She asked me what activities she should do in Christchurch. And she told me where they stayed and the number of days in Christchurch.

It's often been mentioned to me by crew, but only after long conversations or flying a second or subsequent time together. I've also seen one crew member verbally attack another for telling me (not on SQ). That was our third or fourth time flying together. It turns out the other one had had a serious problem with a stalking passenger a while before.

The last time I checked, they used three different hotels in LON(one for each flight), but that info is a bit dated.

There is a standard response that crew are supposed to give you if you ask this question.

"Not sure [la], they change the hotel all the time we find out when we get there [la]"

I've certainly met crew that have told me which hotels they stay in, and working in the industry, I also know quite a few of the hotels - but I'd no more post the details than I would post my own home address on a public Internet forum!
