SQ Tailstrike: A359 operating SQ917 MNL-SIN, on go-around at Changi 02L (24Jan2026)

This incident, which took place on 24 January 2026, was widely reported in the aviation press, as well as on social media. The aircraft, an Airbus A350-900 registration 9V-SHW, executed a go-around at low altitude while landing at Changi Airport Runway 02L. Tail hit the runway while climbing out. Aircraft subsequently landed without incident, and all pax safe.
