This evening, Mrs yflyer asked me, “Why did MileLion write a letter to SIA asking for a birthday cake?”
I had to explain to her that it was because recently, an SQ passenger made an unreasonable (to me anyway) request for a birthday cake on his flight, although the birthday was 2 days after the flight, and the request was denied by SQ. And this was an economy passenger.
For what it is worth, Scoot will happily supply you with a delicious celebratory mango cheesecake and 2 beverages any day of the year, for a very reasonable S$29 (With non alcoholic bevs) or S$36 (With alcoholic bevs).
