On a couple of Silkair flights lately I've been hit by delays of several hours. It seems that lately Silkair has daily re-timings & cancellations. Anyone know if they are short on planes, or whats happening?

Which SilkAir flight are you referring to?
SilkAir does seem to be experiencing operational pressure at the moment. I suspect it's something to do with aircraft maintenance or late arrival of the incoming aircraft but I don't get much info about them. -

1040 SQ5134 SINCTU. Delayed 1 hour 42 minutes.2110 SQ5133 CTUSIN. Delayed 3 hours 4 minutes.
That looks like a tech problem in CTU or some other reason.
SQ5630 / MI9330 is cancelled today but that's Malaysia Airlines' fault as the operating airline.
But yes, I agree, it's not great.Comment
