  • Op-Ups from J to F

I'm told that SQ does not overbook J. So does this mean that op-ups from J to F would only possibly occur when Y is overbooked and J is full, resulting in Y pax being bumped up, with a knock-on that J pax get bumped up?

    Just wondering...

They do. Even been on a flight that was -6 in J until 2 hours before departure.

Also - VERY strangely (far stranger) is i've seen SQ overbook F. Leroy and Bubba's first flight in F SIN-SYD was -2 until I left the SKL (don't know why this happened. Leroy and Bubba suspected it was because of them...

sqflyergirl... just curious, how do you find out the capacity stats of the flights? ask the ground staff? or is there somewhere online...?

SATS staff would have access to the capacity stats.
Althought I have been told a few times that the flight is "full" on check-in, but when I go on my rounds, I see pockets of empty seats.
